VDA 6.3 - Extension of the Qualification Certified Process Auditor [2016] (ID386)

Prerequisites for an extension

1. proof of successful participation in the training course: from VDA 6.3:2016 to VDA 6.3:2023 – Upgrade
2. proof of auditing experience:

• At least 5 process audits (10 days) as responsible auditor in the period of validity of the qualification.  
• In case of less than 5 process audits (with less than 10 audit days) as responsible auditor in the valid period proof of participation in the workshop for certified process auditors VDA 6.3 (ID 341) is required.

In order to extend a VDA 6.3 (2016) qualification, the application must be submitted before validity expires.
For this reason, the validity of the certificates is deliberately limited in time. Through this examination with final certification, you can have your skills confirmed again and thus demonstrate a current and valid VDA certificate.
